Alan Fournier is a prominent philanthropist in the psychedelic space, and a member of the Advisory Board of the NYU Center for Psychedelic Medicine. Inspired by a family history of PTSD and alcoholism, Mr. Fournier’s philanthropy centers efforts to help Veterans and others suffering from trauma and addiction. In his professional life, Alan is the founder of the successful hedge fund Pennant Capital Management L.L.C. After seventeen years, he transitioned to a family office in 2018. Mr. Fournier currently manages the Fournier Family Foundation, which focuses on educational equality, animal welfare and veteran’s affairs.
